• I had a self-tanner mishap only once. Late 80s, my BFF got these tanning pills, I wasn’t so brave, I only got the cream gunk. Smart me. #

• Once in chlorinated pool, FLAME orange but ALSO left big poo coloured clouds in water, you could see it ALL the way up to viewing gallery. #
• I never thought I’d ever live it down. I’ve prided my natural gothy whiteness ever since. #
• Lessons I learned? Self tanner cream comes off w/extensive scrubbing & dish detergent. The pills? Not so much lmfao! Friend was mortified. #
