• Dear Crohn’s patients who aren’t that bad yet: please don’t negate or belittle those of us who are. One day; you’ll understand. #
• I’m so sick of people who have mild Crohn’s/IBD acting disbelieving, scandalized and hateful when they hear how bad some of us have it. #
• OK, maybe YOU don’t have cramps & blood all day, maybe YOU can get some sleep, maybe YOU can eat a meal, maybe YOU don’t crap you pants. #
• But just because YOUR disease isn’t that bad yet doesn’t mean that other worse patients are being babies. You’re an idiot if you think so. #
• When YOUR disease gets to that level; I’ll wipe the sweat from your brow & the tears from your cheeks and I will understand AND forgive you. #
• This is why I don’t join support groups or hang with other sickies. Other sickies are meaner & less understanding that most normies. #
• I encountered a Crohnie who was devastated that her Crohn’s makes her fart, no other symptoms, just gas. Her life was over.. Really, really? #
• In any case; my daughter’s artsy senses are tingling! She’s gonna help me design & stitch soft-corsets & bands so I’ll look like a rockstar! #
• We have ideas for flesh toned spandex bases w/over layers of elaborate lace & corset stitching so it looks like sexy skivvies under my tops! #
• Bottom line: having an ostomy is NOT going to end my life. Having an ostomy is going to give me my life BACK. #

• So its all set. We’re having a family day Sunday. My sister @shawnamatthews and the whole clan are coming to a sleepover before my surgery! #
• My best grrl is in the hospital for unexpected circumstances, I would ask that any of y’all who meditate could send some good mojo our way. #
• She’s gonna be ok but tonight is key to her recovery. We’re praying that infection doesn’t set in & she’s released swiftly. #
• She had an ovarian cyst rupture very early this AM. It was very large & she’s in a lot of pain. She’s currently medicated & resting. #
• So I’m off again. Plans are: hot bath, meds, tea, CSI reruns and warm gentle snuggles. Its been a rough week and its only just begun. #
• My bath was awesome; I didn’t cut myself once! Soo that better not be the only highlight of my week, are you listening Fates? #
